The safety and wellness of our guests, community, employees and performers is of the upmost importance to TicketLeader. During this unprecedented landscape we want to ensure that we are actively communicating with our guests and as such will be providing status updates here for the foreseeable future. We commit to providing event and policy updates in as close to real-time as possible. A list of events as well as their current status and refund policies is provided below. 

TicketLeader is actively monitoring the continuingly evolving status of COVID-19 and is taking swift direction from our municipal, provincial and federal health authorities. Currently, the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) has restricted gathering of over 50 people and consequently the majority of events and concerts listed on TicketLeader and hosted at our associated venues originally scheduled from now through the end of April and a number beyond are postponed or cancelled.

TicketLeader is working closely with our industry partners, event promoters and government to align with the deployment of any best practices regarding rescheduling events and gatherings. We are navigating how best to fulfil as many events as possible once the current limitations have been lifted and TicketLeader and our event partners have done our due diligence to feel the safety of our guests, staff and performers can be reasonably assured.

In the meantime please check back frequently for updates. If the status of an event you purchased tickets for changes you will promptly be updated via email with next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions - COVID-19

Are events listed on TicketLeader going forward as planned?

All immediate events have been postponed or cancelled and the status of later events is being assessed as new information and advisories are provided. TicketLeader and all of our event partners are closely monitoring the situation related to COVID-19. We are working with authorities to monitor developments, and will take direction from provincial, Canadian and global health authorities. The health and safety of our guests, community, employees and performers always our highest priority. In conjunction with our event partners, we will continue to monitor the situation, work with our local partners and consult with health advisory organizations regarding preparedness. If an event is postponed, will I be issued a refund?

Should an event be postponed, tickets will be valid for the alternate event date. In the case an event is cancelled, ticketholders will receive an email notification regarding the refund policy and there will be a cancellation notice on the event page. Standard policies for refunds and exchanges are in effect. Please note that due to the current restrictions, postponed events may not immediately be announcing the new event date but purchasers will be notified by email as soon as information has been confirmed.

I bought Ticket Insurance online via FanShield, what is the policy around COVID-19?

TicketLeader offers Ticket Insurance via FanShield at the point of purchase online. The following statement is directly from FanShield website: ”While we understand customers may be concerned about traveling and/or attending events in light of the concerns surrounding the Coronavirus, please note that the FanShield Protection Policies do not provide coverage if a Policyholder voluntarily decides not to attend an event, registration, or booking or if an event, registration, or booking is cancelled by the venue or promoter for any reason. However, Policyholders remain eligible to submit claims for reimbursement according to the terms and conditions of their policy, including for all listed Covered Reasons, such as any injury or unforeseen Illness that results in the Policyholder being unable to attend the event, registration, or booking, or if the Policyholder is unable to attend the event, registration, or booking due to a delay or cancellation by the Common Carrier used for transportation to the event, registration, or booking. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds concert scheduled for October 17, 2020 at the Pacific Coliseum has been cancelled.

Refunds through TicketLeader will be automatically refunded back to credit cards including all fees. Depending on the financial institution, funds may take up to 14 days to show up on your statement.
